Wednesday
Business Committee agreed to table motions to change Labour members on several committees, for consideration in Plenary on Wednesday.
Business Committee also agreed to a request from the Standards of Conduct Committee (under item 5.1) to schedule a motion to appoint an Acting Standards Commissioner in Plenary on Wednesday. Therefore, the following changes to Wednesday’s agenda were agreed:

· Statement by James Evans - Update on the Proposed Mental Health Standards of Care (Wales) Bill (30 mins)
Wednesday 11 December 2024 –
Business Committee agreed to refer the Disused Mine and Quarry Tips (Wales) Bill to the Climate Change, Environment and Infrastructure Committee for consideration of the general principles, and to consult with the Committee on the proposed timetable for scrutiny and return to the matter at a future meeting.
Business Committee noted the letter and agreed the proposal for time to be made available for James Evans MS to make a statement to update the Senedd on the development of his Mental Health (Standards of Care) (Wales) Bill in Plenary on 27 November 2024.
Business Committee considered and agreed a request from the Standards of Conduct Committee to schedule time for a motion to appoint an Acting Standards Commissioner to consider a particular complaint to be proposed in Plenary on Wednesday 20 November.
Business Committee confirmed the dates for Whitsun Half Term Recess and Summer Recess in 2025, and agreed provisional recess dates for Autumn Half Term Recess in 2025 and Christmas Recess 2025/6.
Written Statement on waiting times
The Llywydd noted that she received a letter from the Leader of Plaid Cymru concerning a Written Statement on waiting times issued by the Cabinet Secretary for Health and Social Care on Sunday 17 November and expressing concern about additional funding being announced at the Labour party conference over the weekend, prior to any information being provided to the Senedd. The Llywydd also noted that the Cabinet Secretary would be making an oral statement in Plenary this afternoon.
